Why only NPR? You list among your interests - history, travel, literature - me too. I know that NPR covers these, but to only comment on their topics is limiting. But I agree with you about Friedman and Regan voodoo-omics. The very rich get richer on the sweat of the underclasses - that's their perogative if they can get away with it. Ours is to declare all-out class warfare.

Only NPR because I've only got so many hours in a day!
Also it seemed to me that there were already a lot of great left/commentary blogs out there, but I couldn't find any on NPR. Lastly I just got fed up with being angry at NPR and people who think it is a "liberal" news outlet and thought a blog like mine could become a resource for people who want to push for accountability from NPR.
Hope that answers your comment...

Exactly, I have been waiting for something like this.

I have been especially annoyed by the bias of talk of the nation, by the way. Now I have somewhere to vent. :)

Mytwords, keep on keeping on here. This is a very purposeful endeavor, one which I check every day. It's very helpful that it IS so specific. The always reliable Crooks & Liars and Buzzflash are perfect for the broader picture, so it's easy to hop around. Besides, for those of us who can no longer tolerate a daily dose of NPR Newspeak, but still care about the effect its having, this is an excellent pulse to keep a finger on.
