NPR SUCKS - they are all complicit

Inskeep's interview with Ron Suskind is a joke:

Ron Susskind was a welcome guest on ME. He gave a cogent argument about the Bush deception over WMD in Iraq. Inskreep was particularly motormouthed in challenging him, much more so than he would've with your average neocon. After the interview, the Kreep did his best to debunk everything Susskind put forth.

A person of possible merit: Dick Meyer, (ed. dir. of NPR's 'digital unit') who at least is bringing up some societal topics which deserve discussion. Despite Meyer's seriousness, Inskreep seemed to treat him as some sort of slightly amusing novelty, and Renaay, even in the few words she contributed afterward in her mundane way, seemed to regard him as rather quaint. As NPR's Action Duo, they hardly have the patience for such reflective types.

Meyer could be an interesting contributor. (I know nothing about him; does anybody?) I am wary though, lest the wily folks at NPR try to lull we critics into thinking that NPR has suddenly gone 'lefty' or something.

It says something about the sorry state of NPR news that NBC's Today does a far more professional interview with Suskind. Notice that NBC cites the Tenet denial within the interview whereas NPR allows Tenet and a "White House spokesman" to have the final word on the story. Inskeep also says "we have called key players in Ron Suskind's account" though we only hear from Tenet and the White House but get nothing from the on-the-record, high-ranking sources, Robert Richer and John Maguire - who make the case for Suskind...how convenient.
